For more than fifteen years, Kris has been teaching students the ins-and-outs of the media world. She was an instructor in the Broadcasting Department at the prestigious NEWSEUM in Washington DC, where she spoke to thousands of students from all over the United States on a variety of topics, from Freedom of Speech, to the world of Broadcast News and Print Journalism. She maintained a personal passion for, and unique expertise, in covering the issues of the First Amendment as it pertains to Music and the Arts.
Prior to The NEWSEUM, Kris worked for MONSTER.COM's Diversity Leadership Conference. There, she visited universities all along the east coast, and was one of a number of professional Presenters that helped recent college graduates prepare themselves for their first post-grad job.
While at MTV, Kris was an occasional instructor at the Connecticut School of Broadcasting, aka CSB. While there, she created and developed a special On-Camera Hosting class unique to the campus serving Manhattan.
Kris began her teaching career in California, and has been a broadcasting mentor throughout her long career. Most recently, she has created a series of Introductory Workshops for CREATIVE STUDIOS OF ATLANTA.
