Emmy nominated Kris Kosach began her broadcasting career in radio. She spent seven years at Alt-rock stations in Reno, Omaha, and St. Louis before being tapped as a VJ for MTV. There, she hosted twice daily blocks of free-form music, and Hosted MTV's "Dreamtime" program.
Following MTV, Kris hosted the Emmy-winning music series "AudioFile" for TechTV for which she traveled the world. It wasn't before long that the network (now known as G4) promoted Kris to Entertainment Correspondent. There, she became a contributor to ABC News and CNN filing entertainment reports from as far away as South Africa.
No shrinking violet, Kris is as comfortable on a red carpet as she is jumping out of a plane. So when the Travel Channel asked her to host "Travel Gear" she jumped right in... literally. From flying jet fighters to riverboarding... Kris has been there... done that. She retired from extreme sports after the birth of her son. She currently lives in Atlanta with her family.
